The whole shoot stays low-key. I can shoot on a phone — to everyone around, it just looks like a friend taking vacation photos. My professional camera is a compact setup without a huge lens, so it doesn't draw attention either.

Many clients start on the phone as a warm-up and switch to the professional camera once they feel confident. Or we use the camera in quiet, private spots and the phone in crowded ones. The phone shots are taken with pro camera apps in RAW format, so the quality stays high-end either way.

We shoot on Mediterranean islands partly for this reason — sunshine is the norm most of the year. Because the shoot spans two full days with a car, we have the flexibility to reschedule around a cloudy morning or move to the sunnier side of the island.
